Rest in Peace Bonnie

On June 19th, Bonnie passed away (12/23/90-6/19/09) We had her for about 3 years. She started going downhill about 2 weeks prior and her condition rapidly deteriorated. She tried to hold on as long as possible, but had her last breath about 30 minutes after I came home from work that day. It was sad to see her go, but we know it was time. We enjoyed the time we had, even if she didn't like me too much at first.

Baby Deer

I was fourwheeling the other day and there was a baby deer hiding in a small trash pile in the middle of the woods that we own.

I recently changed my blog from
http://sublimefdq.livejournal.com/
to
http://zdlandis.blogspot.com/

I also move my photos from Webshots to Picasa. I'm not going to delete the old content, but it will probably get deleted if it remains unused for a certain amount of time.

The two new programs seem to offer more and be easier to use than what I was using before. The picasa is nice, because it has face recognition software and is much easier to organize and upload.

I hope you enjoy this new blog

Dushore PA

For Memorial day we went to Dushore PA to the family cabins. It's a lot different having a baby there, but we still had lots of fun. It wasn't as full this year as it normally is. I think 22 total people cycled through the cabins that weekend.

A lot of people held Lincoln so Me and Loralee could still do a descent amount of 4 wheeling. We only drove about 25 miles this year, although I think Nate probably drove it for about 5 of those miles. (Last year we drove about 50 miles.)

A nice picture of the Pond.

I think the new tradition at Dushore is to have smores and Hotdogs as dinner and cook them over the campfire.

Gwen likes to follow the 4 wheeler, but she's finally getting old enough that she get tired and slows down. She can only run about 28 mph now and gets tired after running about 3 miles.

Nate looks kind of funny with his "ears". This picture was not on purpose.
